Honest Liars and the Lessons They Teach
By Jackie Overstreet • October 13, 2025

When discernment becomes your greatest defense
We’ve all met them—people who promise mountains but never move a single stone. They speak with conviction, charm, and purpose… yet their follow-through is as hollow as their words.
Maybe they just forgot.
No, they didn’t forget. They never intended to do it.
An honest liar is the kind who looks you in the eye while crafting words they’ll never honor. The danger isn’t just in their deceit—it’s in the way they make you question your own discernment. That’s what makes it spiritual warfare, not just disappointment.
The Bible tells us that Satan is the father of lies, and his favorite tactic is confusion. Honest liars thrive in that fog. But when you stay anchored in Christ, you begin to see the pattern for what it is—distraction. Every empty promise becomes a mirror showing you what to stop expecting from man and start expecting from God.
So what do you do when the promises don’t match the actions? You let them see that you see. You hold your peace and hand it to the only One who can make it right.
Focus Point:
Discernment is peace in disguise. When you can see clearly, you can forgive freely.

"I've Tried Everything. Nothing Works. "
If you've said this, you're not broken. You're just missing ONE piece.
"I saw my pattern on page 2. I literally gasped. This is why my relationships always end the same way."
