Maskless Before God

Where clarity grows when the noise finally stops
There is something freeing about standing before God without a mask. No performing. No proving. No explaining yourself. Just showing up as you are.
At the core of every heart is the same desire, to be seen, known, and understood. With Jesus Christ, that need is already met. Not halfway. Fully.
That alone brings relief.
One of the hardest parts of walking with God is learning how to recognize His voice. Most people think it should sound dramatic or obvious. In reality, God often speaks through quiet. Through restraint. Through moments where nothing is forced.
Sometimes the most loving thing God does is slow us down. He removes the constant urge to react, respond, or defend. He teaches us that silence is not weakness, it is strength under control. When you stop filling every space with words, you start hearing what actually matters.
God speaks in many ways.
• Through a thought that brings peace instead of panic
• Through a closed door that later makes sense
• Through a conversation that lands differently than expected
• Through a calm knowing that does not argue with you
For a long time, I worried about being in God’s will, not realizing He was walking with me the whole time. When I finally quieted my mind, I saw how often He had protected me by withholding things I thought I needed. Later, I understood how much stress He spared me.
If you are in a season where things feel slower, quieter, or unclear, take heart. God is not distant. He is attentive. He knows what you can carry and what you were never meant to.
You do not have to fill the silence.
You can rest in it.
Blessings to you,
Jackie
