Why They Built Worship Before Walls

First thing they did: rebuilt the altar. Not the walls. Not the gates. The altar.

Worship came before construction. Spiritual alignment preceded structural progress. They established their relationship with God before they established their city. That order matters.

Jesus Christ doesn't build physical restoration on spiritual neglect. He won't give you a restored marriage without a restored heart. Won't rebuild your health without rebuilding your faith. Won't reconstruct your future without reconstructing your foundation with Him.

Too many people trying to restore life while neglecting relationship with the One doing the restoring. You build walls. You accomplish goals. You reconstruct circumstances. But if the altar is abandoned, the walls eventually crumble anyway. Kingdom restoration starts on your knees. Starts with worship. Starts with establishing that Jesus is the reason for rebuilding, not just rebuilding for rebuilding's sake. Build the altar first. Everything else follows.
