The Ministry of Inconvenience
By Jackie Overstreet • November 2, 2025

Where real love stops being comfortable and starts being true.
You don’t know how much someone loves you until you inconvenience them.
That line hit me like a sermon.
Love isn’t proven by comfort. It’s revealed by cost.
Anyone can love you when you’re easy to love.
But love that stays through frustration, fatigue, and friction? That’s ministry.
Because love interrupts.
It changes your plans.
It humbles your pride.
It asks you to forgive when logic says walk away.
~Love should always feel easy.~
No. Love should feel real.
Jesus didn’t die on the cross because it was convenient. He did it because love required it.
The greatest acts of love are almost always inconvenient — late-night prayers, unexpected forgiveness, serving when your own heart is heavy.
If your love never costs you anything, it might not be love — just preference with good PR.
Focus Point:
When love gets inconvenient, heaven leans closer.
If this speaks to you, share it with someone who’s learning that love isn’t supposed to be easy — it’s supposed to be eternal.
— Jackie, just reminding you that grace still shows up, even tired.

If you've said this, you're not broken. You're just missing ONE piece.
"I saw my pattern on page 2. I literally gasped. This is why my relationships always end the same way."
