The Spiritual Intelligence of Slowness

Pace is a teacher, not a punishment

We live in a world obsessed with momentum.

Faster results.

Faster decisions.

Faster breakthroughs.


But slowness is not failure.

Slowness is intelligence.


Only the spiritually mature understand the power of an unhurried life.

Slowness gives you something speed never can.

It gives you accuracy.


Slowness lets you feel the gentle nudges of the Holy Spirit.

Speed drowns them out.


Slowness lets you notice what is growing.

Speed only notices what is missing.


Slowness lets your spirit lead.

Speed lets your ego lead.


Soul Esteem teaches you this,

the goal is not to get there fast,

the goal is to get there whole.


Jesus was never rushed.

Not once.

And He accomplished every assignment on His calendar.


Slowness is not procrastination when God is the One setting the pace.

Slowness is protection.


If you are moving slower than you thought you would,

it is because He is strengthening the foundation under your feet.


You are not late.

You are being prepared.
