How Your Trials Made You Unstoppable Through Stubborn Faith
"They made you unstoppable."
I love this statement so much because it reframes everything you've been through.
As you begin to mature and heal in your mind, soul, body, and spirit—and it's not a
sprint, it's a journey—you actually begin to thank God for the trials.
Here's what most people miss: the beauty is becoming so resolute, developing what I
call "stubborn faith" in God, that you immediately see patterns right when they start.
When you can see things right off, I believe that's one of the first stages of real
recognition. They say it takes 30 days to break a habit, but there's something happening
mentally, emotionally, and spiritually when you're able to see it.
The beautiful thing is you now have the opportunity to resist the urge and do something
different. To forge a different pathway.
That's what soul esteem is about—making deliberate choices, not being afraid to
struggle. There's no shame in struggle. Struggle simply means you refuse to settle for the
status quo.
When you deliberately choose to make a righteous, Jesus-centered decision, you're
saying, "God, I lift You high above everything. I'm asking You to align my mind, heart,
will, and emotions. Straighten out my heart posture so I'm submitted to You."
Jesus Christ is the one and only true living God. Give Him authority in every area of your
life. He's a gentleman—He won't force Himself on you.
But when you give Him rule and reign in every area of your life, stand back and watch
Him work.
What trial made you so unstoppable that you're finally ready to thank God for it?
