When the Mirror Blinks Back
By Jackie Overstreet • October 17, 2025

This is a subtitle for your new post
Sometimes it isn’t blindness.
It’s habit.
We stop seeing what’s always been there — because clarity feels too close.
The mirror doesn’t lie,
but it does wait.
It waits for the moment you’re brave enough to look without defending the reflection.
I used to pray for vision.
Now I pray for honesty.
If I can fix what’s wrong, maybe I’ll finally be right.
But fixing is another disguise for control,
and control never healed a soul.
The moment I stopped performing for my own approval,
I finally caught a glimpse of Christ staring back through the cracks —
not judging,
just waiting.
Focus Point:
You don’t find freedom by becoming new — you find it by finally seeing what’s true.
If this stirred something quiet in you, start The Soul Esteem Freedom Journal.
It’s where self-awareness turns into surrender.
"I've Tried Everything. Nothing Works. "
If you've said this, you're not broken. You're just missing ONE piece.
"I saw my pattern on page 2. I literally gasped. This is why my relationships always end the same way."
