Living like God is glad to be with you

There is a quiet shift that happens when you stop believing God merely endures you.

Prayer changes. Worship changes. Repentance changes.

If you think God tolerates you, you approach Him cautiously. You apologize excessively. You hide parts of yourself. You try to impress Him with discipline.

If you believe God enjoys you, you approach Him honestly. You speak freely. You rest.

I must impress God to stay close to Him

The truth is this: closeness was secured before you performed.

Jesus Christ is King. He called His disciples friends, not servants. Friendship implies access. It implies affection. It implies shared presence.

Imagine living as if heaven is not frustrated with you.

Imagine praying without bracing for disappointment.

Imagine waking up believing that the Creator of the universe is not merely tolerating you today, but is genuinely glad you are His.

Do you live like God is glad to be with you, or like He is waiting for you to improve?

Focus Point
