Why Avoiding the Hard Thing Keeps You Small Forever

So many people do everything they can without understanding that if they never lean into the hard thing, they'll never accomplish what they're trying to get done.

Growth leads to expansion. As developed as we think we are, it's through struggles, trials, and figuring out complex puzzle pieces that we realize who we truly are. Even more importantly, our capacity.

Avoid the hard thing until you're ready.

You become ready by doing the hard thing, not before it.

You really know what's in a person when their back is against the wall. Suffering produces perseverance, perseverance produces character, and character produces hope. Jesus Christ uses the hard thing to expand you.

Learning to embrace all of it is how you become the resilient disciple you were meant to be.

What hard thing are you avoiding that's blocking the expansion Jesus Christ is trying to create in you?
