Why Fear of the Lord Is the Starting Line, Not the Finish Line

Proverbs 1:7 says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Everyone wants wisdom. Nobody wants the beginning. They want the shortcut, the hack, the overnight success. But Jesus Christ doesn't do shortcuts. He does foundations.

Fear of the Lord isn't terror. It's reverence that reorders everything else. It's the starting line that determines your entire race. You can't build kingdom wisdom on a worldly foundation. It collapses. Start where God starts: with reverence for who He is. Everything you're hustling for begins here. Not with the grind. With the God who gives the grind meaning. Begin right. Everything after that finds its place.
