The Grief-to-Growth Exchange

Why Sorrow Is Better Than Laughter When Jesus Christ Uses It to Mature You
Solomon said sorrow is better than laughter, for by sadness of face the heart is made better.
The world avoids grief. Jesus Christ uses it. Not because He's cruel, but because growth happens in the hard seasons. Laughter is easy. Grief matures.
Kingdom living doesn't avoid pain. It extracts purpose from it. Sorrow deepens you in ways joy never will. It expands your capacity. It softens your heart. It teaches you compassion. Jesus didn't promise you'd never grieve. He promised to use grief to make you better. Not bitter. Better. That's the exchange. Grief isn't meaningless when the God who grieves with you uses it to grow you into who you're becoming.
What grief are you avoiding that Jesus Christ is trying to use to grow you into someone deeper?
