Why Pursuing Pleasure Is Meaningless But Receiving Joy From Jesus Christ Isn't

Solomon pursued pleasure and called it meaningless. He was right. Chasing pleasure is chasing wind. But receiving joy from Jesus Christ? That's different.

One is pursuit. The other is gift. One exhausts. The other sustains. Pleasure is temporary high. Joy is deep-rooted peace that survives the valleys.

Jesus didn't come to kill pleasure. He came to give you something better. Joy that doesn't depend on circumstances. Peace that doesn't fluctuate with feelings. Contentment that isn't tied to achievement. Solomon chased pleasure and found it empty. Jesus offers joy and it satisfies. Not because it's flashier. Because it's from Him. Stop chasing pleasure. Start receiving joy. That's the upgrade.

What pleasure are you chasing that keeps disappointing when Jesus Christ is offering joy that actually satisfies?
