A Small Group Decided to Rebuild Everything

They were small. The returned exiles weren't the majority. They weren't the famous ones. They were the committed ones.

A remnant is what's left after loss. The percentage that survives. The minority that refuses to stay broken. Zerubbabel led them. Not thousands. Not millions. Enough. The right ones.

Jesus Christ doesn't need majorities to accomplish majorities of work. He needs the committed few. The ones who see rubble and don't despair. The ones who see broken walls and see possibility. You don't need everyone to start rebuilding. You need the right people.

Stop waiting for the whole group to agree. Stop waiting for everyone to understand. Stop waiting for the masses to join you. The remnant moves. The remnant acts. The remnant rebuilds while the comfortable stay home. You're a remnant if you're willing to move toward broken things when comfort whispers to stay put. That's enough. That's everything.
