Growth Nobody Sees Determines the Height Everyone Will

A sequoia doesn't become the tallest tree in the forest by growing faster. It becomes the tallest by growing deeper first.

You're obsessed with height, speed, visibility. But Jesus Christ is asking about your root system. What you're building underground in the unhurried, unexpected, quiet moments nobody applauds.

Growth is measured by what people can see.

The tree that grows too fast above ground snaps in the first storm.

Living peacefully, unhurried, quiet isn't wasted time. It's root development. God already knows why you're here. Stillness is where you sink deep enough to access it. The why doesn't live on the surface where busyness operates. It lives in the deep soil where stillness digs.

What shallow growth are you celebrating that has no roots supporting it?
